Thank you very much for spending
some time with Roughrider Gamebirds Wildlife Studio. I sure hope
you enjoyed my work.
I have been hunting birds in
my home state of North Dakota for since I was old enough to hold a gun.
For me, birds are not just a hobby, but a passion. I am fortunate
enough to have some of the finest bird hunting in the world right in my
own back yard. Chances are, if you're a serious bird hunter, you've visited
the Roughrider State.
I still remember the 1st bird
I ever shot! A Green Winged Teal near Devils Lake, N.D. I
begged my father to have it mounted for me, but money was tight at the
time. Looking back, I'm glad he didn't, otherwise I might never
have had the determination to learn this craft. I started dabbling
in bird taxidermy at an early age. After lot's of hard work, determination
and few lumps along the way, I have worked my way into an Award Winning
"Master Taxidermist". The fact that I'm an such an avid
bird hunter, helps me truly understand what you, the sportsman really
wants in a bird mount!
Taxidermy helps me relive those
special autumn days in the field with family and friends. My goal is to
help preserve a special memory for you with roughridergamebirds.com.
A special thanks to Jim Benson who took the time to help develope me into
the bird taxidermist that I am today!
My greatest creation yet!
